DDS is a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA)
obligated under all Federal and State laws, including
the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to protect your
right to privacy.
DDS conducts business with business clients through our
secure web site which is only accessible by an
authorized client user who is assigned a unique user
name and strong password by DDS. That business
encompasses different aspects of pre/post employee
screening and tenant screening. DDS also conducts
business with a specific section of the public to facilitate requests concerning their own eligibility for
inclusion into certain programs related to the
healthcare industry
Information that is received by DDS directly through our secure web site is input by authorized client users
only. The content is based on information provided by an
employment or tenant applicant who has signed an inquiry
release and who is authoriz- ing the request for
information to be processed by DDS. Any and all
information is only accessible to the authorized client
and the applicant. DDS does not collect, use, store or
disseminate any personal or identifiable data for
marketing, demographic studies, or any other reason
other than the specific intent that the information was
put in for. All information is used in compliance with
applicable law, including FCRA.
Personal information that is received by DDS on its’
public web site is entered by and for an individual for
the specific intent listed in paragraph two and transmitted through a secure intranet connection
directly and exclusively to DDS. The service provided to
that individual through our public web site is done only
after an electronic authorization is provided by the
individual and has a valid credit card. The information
obtained by DDS is then securely returned to the
individual requesting the information, or to a
previously designated third party. DDS does not collect
any personal or identifiable data from anyone accessing
our public web site unless specifically requested by
that individual for the purpose indicated in paragraph
two.
DDS does not collect, use, store or disseminate any personal or identifiable data for marketing, demographic
studies, or any other reason other than the specific
intent that the information was put in for. All
information is used in compliance with applicable law,
including FCRA.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
DDS does not sell, lease or give away personal
information to third parties. DDS will not disclose your personal information to a third party without your permission, except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Data Security
DDS utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption
when data is transmitted over the Internet to our web
site. There are layered firewalls and other security
technologies to help prevent unauthorized access to our system. Strong password protection protocols are used on
our computers, and employees are kept up-to-date on our
security and privacy policies. The servers used to store consumer information are maintained off site and in a
secure environment with appropriate security measures.
