December 1, 2009
The following is
effective Immediately regarding the dissemination of
Canadian Criminal Records. When there is “No Record”
found based on the identification criteria, it will
be indicated on the report with an additional
comment stating “this information can only be
confirmed through Fingerprint Comparison”. When
there is a “Possible Record” found based on the
identification criteria entered, the actual record
will no longer be released by the authorities.
Instead the following will be posted on the report:“
There may, or may not be a Criminal Record in
existence. Information can only be confirmed by
Fingerprint comparison.”
The
only way to confirm or deny an actual record is to
have the subject submit Fingerprints to the local
Canadian Police Dept. Results take approx. 4 weeks
and will be sent directly to the subject’s
residence. If you have any questions regarding these
new regulations, please feel free to contact us.

Statewide Repository Information -June 01, 2008

Statewide Repository Criminal Records from
Massachusetts (CORI) should have received the new
form that should be utilized going forward. If
you don't receive it by June 1, please call CORI
directly, or DDS for assistance. It is
advisable for all clients that have not yet
registered to receive Massachusetts Statewide
Repository Criminal Records, do so just in case you
need that search in the future. Please call
DDS for the necessary forms.

2007
Washington State department of motor vehicle has updated
their procedures for requesting driver's history
information. T here is a new release form being
utilized and the turnaround times have changed to 7 - 10
business days.

$17.00 effective February 01, 07.
Montana
Motor Vehicle Records State Fee Increase- JANUARY 17, 2007
Montana State fee will increase from $6.50 to
$7.00 effective January 18, 2007.
Oklahoma Drivers License Alpha Prefix- JANUARY 17, 2007
The Oklahoma DMV has made changes to their current
Driver License format. Along with their current Drivers License format, the DMV is now issuing a one character alpha prefix to their existing Driver's License numbers.
This change will take effect immediately.
MISSOURI STATEWIDE CRIMINAL REPOSITORY - JANUARY 1, 2007
As of January 1, 2007 Missouri statewide fee will be
$10.00.
ARKANSAS DRIVING RECORD - DECEMBER 7, 2006
As of December 7, 2006. Arkansas state fee increased
from $8.00 to $8.50.
KENTUCKY DRIVING RECORD - DECEMBER 1, 2006
As of December 1, 2006, Kentucky has increased
their state fee from $4.50 to $5.00.
PENNSYLVANIA DRIVING RECORD - NOVEMBER 15, 2006
The Pennsylvania DMV has notified us of recent changes
to driving record requests. They have issued a new
authorization form which we will begin to utilize November 15, 2006. We will NOT be accepting the old PA driving record authorizations any longer. Any releases
sent that are not in compliance with this new policy
cannot be processed. As you will see, the new request requires some
additional information,
and most importantly, a notarization This means the original copies will now
have to be mailed to our office. The turnaround time
will be 7-10 business days. For those of you who have
taken advantage of Pennsylvania Affidavit, you can fax
us a copy and mail the original. This way you can still
enjoy a same day turnaround time.

Please be advised due to the State of New Jersey not
agreeing on a new budget the State has been shut down
until further notice. We will update as soon as the
state re-opens.
NEBRASKA STATEWIDE CRIMINAL REPOSITORY - MAY 23, 2006
Please be advised that beginning June 1, 2006, the State
of Nebraska will increase the access fee to Statewide
Criminal Repository information to $15.00.
WASHINGTON STATE DRIVING RECORD RELEASE - NOVEMBER 1,
2005
Washington State has revised their Driving Record Release Form. Please click on the "Forms" tab above and
print or download it for future use.
COLORADO DRIVING RECORDS - OCTOBER 19, 2005
Effective October 19, 2005, the State fee for Colorado
Driving Records will increase from $2.20 to $4.20.
Invoices will reflect the change as of that date.
NORTH CAROLINA DRIVING RECORDS - SEPTEMBER 26, 2005
Effective October 1, 2005, the State fee for North Carolina Driving Records will increase from $5.00 to
$8.00. Invoices will reflect the change as of that date.
